Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled the latest edition of Microsoft Office on Monday in San Francisco. It is said to be the most ambitious update release of the Software. The Office Suite applications have been redesigned to make the most of Windows 8 operating system, work with mobile devices and operate in the cloud. Let’s take a look on the top 12 features of the new Microsoft Office:
1. Touch everywhere

Touch feature makes office apps more modern and spontaneous. PowerPoint, Word and others respond to touch like they do to keyboard and mouse. Functions like swiping, pinching, zooming and tapping makes working on documents an amazing experience.
2. Inking

A stylus can be used to write content on the apps which automatically get converted into text. So, making notes, writing emails gets easier than ever. Coloring and erasing also gets a lot simpler. The stylus can be used as a laser pointer while showing presentations.

Applications like Lync and new OneNote are first Windows 8 style applications which are designed to deliver touch-first experiences on a tablet.
