Lighter, thinner and faster Apple iPhone 5 unveiled



Apple has officially launched the new version of iPhone, named as the iPhone 5 at a special event in San Francisco, USA. As compared to the iPhone 4S, this new Apple iPhone 5 is lighter, thinner and faster.  iPhone 5 also brings a new maps application with Apple-designed cartography.  It also debuts new smaller connector, named as Lightning. It comes with finger-resistant oleophobic coating on the display. Apple has packed a dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi antenna that provides faster download experience at 150 Mbps. From September 21 onwards, iPhone 5 will be available in USA and gradually will be made available across the world.  The iPhone 5 is expected to be unveiled in India in the month of November this year.

The new device comes with anodised aluminium body with diamond cut chamfered edges. It continues to offer glass inlays for stylish finishing. The new iPhone 5 is 20 per cent lighter compared to the iPhone 4S. Apple is the first company to officially launch ARM Cortex A15 core architecture based working product. Yet there is no clarity regarding to its graphics chip but soon we will update you as we receive the confirmation about the same.
